Rainbow Moonstone Silver Pendant

Moonstone, like Sunstone & Labradorite, is a member of the feldspar group of minerals. Moonstone is another flashy feldspar. The stones we have for sale are from Sri Lanka, the classical country of origin for Rainbow Moonstone. Rainbow Moonstone has a pale blue shimmer on an almost transparent background which can be imagined to be moonshine. Specimens from India are less transparent and come in shades of beige to brown, near black, green, orange, blue, peach, champagne and even a reddish color.
