This is a Marmatite specimen. Marmatite is chemically a ferroan sphalerite.
It contains, up to twenty percent iron, in addition to zinc sulfide.
This specimen is an old specimen from the Idarado mine Ouray Colorado.
Look at the main quartz crystal it is double terminated and sceptered.
The specimen is 2.5 inches by 1.75 inches.
