Jasper Reference Pictures
Deschutes Jasper
This jasper came from a deposit a little east of Biggs
Junction Oregon
near the Deschutes River. It is very hard to distinguish from some of
the
Old Blue Biggs Jasper. As you can see the blue is a little more gray.
Most of this was buried in the highway so don't expect to find too often.
Morrisonite Jasper
Morrisonite has allot of color combinations and usually
isn't this jumbled. Anyway
this shows some of the colors. We will put more pictures up when we
run across more
of this material.This is another hard to come by jasper
