The Gemstone Leolite

Leolite comes from a mine near Bahia, Brazil.
As we mentioned in our article on included quartz.
This is a new material from this area.

This mine is near the area where Lodalite is found.
We do not have all of the information yet. It looks as
though this material is mostly Iron Oxides and perhaps
somecalcite. It is a very attractive rare gemstone.
