The links above will provide you with information we have collected on both precious and semi precious gemstone.

Idaho star Garnets, nice Red Faceted Idaho Garnet, Idaho opal, Owyhee Picture Jasper, Rocky Butte Picture Jasper, Biggs Junction Jasper And Petrified Wood from the Ginko Petrified Forest are stone types that come from near where we live.

We currently haven't been able to get good photos of the star garnet and may never. In the sun the star garnet is deep purple a lot like the color of concord grapes and looks pretty much black under indoor lighting. Star Garnet can have either a 4 ray or 6 ray star.

Faceted Idaho garnets come in shades of deep red, reddish orange, a nice reddish purple rhodalite color and a light pinkie purple.

Idaho Opals are a triplet type of opal that are usually just as bright as the bolder opal from Australia. The Picture jaspers are also outstanding. Not to mention all of the other stones we have from all over.
